What Makes Blue Label so Special
Launched in 1992, Blue Label is Johnnie Walker’s pinnacle blend, crafted from the rarest whiskies in Diageo’s reserves—only about 1 in 10,000 casks make the cut. It’s a no-age-statement blend, but it’s reputed to include whiskies up to 50‑70 years old, including from “ghost” distilleries—closed sites preserved only in memory.
The result is a silky-smooth dram with layered notes of honey, dark chocolate, dried fruit, citrus, oak, smoke, and spice, making it a symbol of luxury and refinement.
